Owned and operated by Kingston locals for over 15 years, the Merchant Tap House is set in a historic building from 1836. Constructed nearly 200 years ago, the original limestone and aged wood beams give our home its historic charm. The walls are covered with original photographs of the years spent at the Merchant, reminding us of our history in the community.

Our story started with hometown rock bands, charming pub food and good beer – creating one of Kingston’s most well-known bars today. We now strive to elevate this service every day, adding crafted cocktails and thoughtful dishes to our menus.

Our team of management is dedicated to ensuring customer service is one of our top priorities, treating every person that comes in like family. We are an active member of the Kingston and surrounding area, with ongoing community outreach programs that work to make our community a better place to live, work and play.
